François-Xavier Poncet
Founding Partner and Auctioneer
Graduated as an auctioneer in 2013 after obtaining a Master’s degree in Law and Taxation of the Art Market (DFMA, University of Lyon III) and completing the first cycle of the École du Louvre.
For over 10 years, my career has led me to make many discoveries — often unusual or unexpected, sometimes dusty, but always driven by the emotion of uncovering a treasure and bringing its story back to life.
Practicing a profession of transmission, I have had the privilege of organizing and conducting numerous auctions, covering specialties as diverse as they are fascinating. One day, I sold a Caravaggesque masterpiece for several hundred thousand euros; another, I brought under the hammer exceptionally rare coins or extraordinary pieces of jewelry.
Each time, the same satisfaction: seeing these precious objects find new passionate owners, or join public collections.

Founding Partner
Holder of a Master’s degree in Law and Policy of Artistic Professions and Activities, and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Aix-Marseille.
As Head of Appraisals for 10 years in a Parisian auction house, I travel throughout France to meet your needs. My approach to appraisal is both rigorous and caring.
I strive to communicate clearly, to dispel preconceived notions about the value of objects, and to guide each person toward the best decision based on their expectations. I know that parting with a cherished piece is not always easy — that’s why I’m committed to providing an accurate and fair valuation.
