PONTET-CANET TESSERON - Lot 10
PONTET-CANET TESSERON THE TESSERON LEGACY Duo of emblematic signatures from the Tesseron family: - Cognac Trésor - Collection Signature - Château Pontet-Canet 2021 in double magnum. An exceptional lot celebrating the refinement and heritage of great blends Maison Tesseron (Château Pontet-Canet and Cognac Tesseron) Behind the walls of a Romanesque crypt in Châteauneuf-sur-Charente, time has been for over a century. It was here, in 1905, that Abel Tesseron began to build up a treasure trove of eaux-de-vie: a reserve patiently built up and handed down from generation to generation one of the rarest collections of cognacs in the world. In 1975, the family opened a new chapter with the acquisition of Château Pontet-Canet, in Pauillac. Here, another expression of time a profound dialogue with nature and terroir. In 2004, true to his conviction, Pontet-Canet became the first Grand Cru Classé of the Médoc to commit to biodynamic viticulture, guided by the idea that excellence is born of respect for the rhythm of life. From the cellars of Cognac to the vineyards of Pauillac, Maison Tesseron perpetuates the same vision: that of time, transmission and a quest for excellence excellence driven by intuition as much as by heritage. Les Écrins This lot unites two exceptional signatures of the Tesseron family. Cognac Trésor - Collection Signature is a blend of a hundred or so Tesseron eaux-de-vie. Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie, aged for over two generations in the Tesseron generations in the Tesseron Paradise. Powerful, silky and long on the palate long on the palate, it is presented in its signature case, a veritable treasure trove Tesseron Cognac collection. Château Pontet-Canet 2021 presented in a double magnum (58% Cabernet Sauvignon Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot - 13°) reveals a vintage of great elegance: intense purple color floral and mentholated with notes of blackcurrant and cedar, and a creamy palate with fine tannins. A Grand Cru Classé 1855, in a format ideal for special for special occasions.
