Roger CAPRON (1922 - 2006) "Village". Coffee table in brushed oxidized steel with rectangular top set with polychrome enameled stoneware tiles featuring engraved architecture, figures, birds, a tree and a stylized sun on a shaded brown background. Signed in a cartouche at one corner. Small chips to the tiles. Height 30 cm - Length 117 cm - Depth 49 cm Bibliography: Peter Staudenmeyer, Roger Capron céramiste, Éditions Norma, Paris, 2003, p. 92 for a panel similar to our model.
