LALAOUNIS Torque necklace in 18K (750) gold, adorned with an 18K gold pendant depicting a labyrinth. Signed. Greek work. Preserved in its case. Length: approx. 38 cm. Pendant height: approx. 6.5 cm. Weight : 83.9 g This necklace is related to a similar model presented in the Choreography chapter, in which Ilias Lalaounis explores geometric forms to translate the movement of dancers. For him, "the labyrinth, spiral and staircase could be seen as the materialized transfer of choreographic figures". Ilias Lalaounis, Métamorphoses 1984, p. 316".
